With all of the coverage for the last two "world ending" storms in the Gulf of Mexico. One would figure that this country has a desire to be scared silly.

Ok now back to reality and the textual stimulation I so errantly promised before.
Currently reading proverbs...daily chapters 1-31 of course....and encountered the proverb about a woman who lacks discretion being like a gold ring in a swine's nose. never really thought this one out much. Being married and all, I can understand the ramifications of this. Imagine a beautiful woman leading her husband by the nose/emotions to whatever she desires. Women are powerful influencers. So is a beautiful woman that has discretion like a crown on a swine's head?
